                                                      Handmade Original Jewelry

Imaginative jewelry designed with handmade porcelain or stoneware beads added to semi-precious gemstone beads.   New for 2010- pottery and small sculptures and incense burners.

Specializing in Ocean Jasper from Madagascar.  Ocean Jasper has been available since 2000 and can only be seen at low tide near Moravato, Madagascar.  The Malagasy people retrieve the Ocean Jasper by boat as there are no roads going to the mine.  Beautiful colors of green, pink, blue, white and textures including "druzy" quartz inclusions are found.  A spectacular gemstone and every piece has a personality all its own.  Unfortunately the mine is now closed but I still have a limited supply of stones for new and spectacular jewelry.

A special techinique of mine is the cascade effect with muliple strands of gemstones, hand knotted and perfectly placed exploring the possibilities of personal adornment.

BUTTONS!  Handmade Porcelain or Stoneware buttons in varying sizes and shapes for your handcrafted knitting, crocheting and sewing.  Special orders accepted.  A card of buttons make a great personal gift to someone that deserves the best.

Visit me Saturdays at the Old City Farmers' Market in St. Augustine, Florida at the St. Augustine Amphitheater, hours 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

You may contact me at DeborahsJewelry@aol.com

Jewelry in the photos may be purchased on a first come basis. All work is original.  Visa/Mastercard accepted.  Sales tax (if applicable- FL & NC), and shipping & insurance is extra.  All sales are final.  No refunds.

Soon to come- Earring Photos!  With over 100 glazes and using 7 different clay bodies (Helios Porcelain, Desert Buff Stoneware, Speckled Brownstone & Red Stoneware and more) and the ability to vary firing temperatures, each firing gives new meaning to opening the Kiln to see what "The Kiln Fairy" has left for me.

New for 2010.   McGyver is using his magic and working on my new Studio!  At this time my wheel is functioning on my deck and the small pots are flying off the wheel.  Since I'm a container freak, that's a hint of what I'm producing.  Right now I'm working on an inventory of small pots for earrings and the like that I hope amuses you as much as it does me.

New for 2011.  Mugs!  New clay bodies, fabulous experiments and some of the most awesome mugs.  One of these days when my studio location gets high speed internet I'll actually be able to set up a "store" on-line.  Until then, uploading photos is unbelievably slow but the good news is that I do know how to "jpeg" a photo via email.

Blessings and good things to All!  Deborah & The Kiln Fairy.
